The glove is very good the latex was grippy out of the bag and taking the plastic piece of it's good.the entry of the glove was hard to put on I had to get a friend to put it on for me when I had to put the second one on.The glove is very comfortable. A couple of bad thing about the gloves is that you can fell the sting of some hard shots in the palm. In the pinky area the finger save make it a bit uncomfortable but you get used to is.If your going to buy this glove be first try it on in a soccer store and see if they price match to get a cheaper price on these gloves.
Look good, fit perfect, price is fantastic! Bought these for my son. The skeleton frame above the fingers is extremely comfortable, easy to put on and secure, undersides are foam which do wear away in time as expected. Very happy with purchase highly recommend.
The Adidas Ace Trans Pro goalkeeper glove is a high end, professional-standard glove. This means that while it has fantastic grip, this grip does fade over time (I normally manage to get around just over a season out of a pair of top end adidas gloves such as these) and the durability of the latex palm is not as long lasting as some of the replica models. That being said this glove's grip is the best I've ever used. In all weather conditions I could easily hold hard shots and collect high balls well. I have found that in previous models, the stitching of the glove could come undone and result in holes. This problem has been addressed via better construction in the Trans Pro. I would still recommend going a full size up in size as these are very tight fitting gloves. All in all, I am very pleased with these gloves. They look great, grip fantastically and seem to have a sturdier construction compared to previous models. The only downside is the eventual loss of grip and reduced durability but this is expected with higher end gloves.
I bought these for my son who is 6. He was delighted with them. However we did get the wrong size initially as I think the measurement guide is a bit confusing. For reference the right size for him was 5.5
My 9yr old son has had adidas gloves before and they fit really well. The finger save technology also ensures his hands are protected when he plays in net for his team. Bought as a Xmas present as his old ones are completely worn out. Much better quality than other gloves he has had before.
Quality, well made gloves. Ordered as a Xmas present for my 12 year old son but didn't realise there are 2 size 7, adult and junior. These looked massive so decided to show him before sending back. He thought they were perfect and talked me into him buying them himself so he could wear them for a match following day. He made a lot of saves that day and he is convinced it was the magic gloves. He has only used them twice but if he looks after them I'm sure they will last a long time and keep his fingers safe and the long bandage strap keeps them in place. Expensive but in a different league to junior gloves previously bought
The product is comfortable and increases Goalkeeping performance. However after less than a week of use the latex foam begins to deteriorate, So i would only recommend purchase of this item if it won't be heavily used.
Adidas au sent it super fast (after 2 days, I have received the glove and the cleaner as well). I verry happy with the delivery. The ace glove fit tightly. It would be better if it has a finger protection.
2nd time buying Adidas gloves and not impressed so far. While the fit and grip were very good the durability and workmanship are very poor. Both sets have worn out in only 5 matches. For top of the line performance at this price durability and workmanship should not have to be questioned. For million dollar per match keepers I understand the need for such a disposable glove but then a statement to all other keepers should be included with the purchase or packaging warning of there intended use.
I ordered a pair of these gloves for my Son, an hour into the first game the Adidas symbol started to come off the gloves and you could start to see wear and tear. I sent back that pair and reordered another. While the second pair have lasted a little longer they're also showing extreme signs of wear and he's only had them a week. Got the amount of money these gloves cost they're not worth it.
I sent them back. I ordered my usual glove size and the fingers and body were fine, but the thumb and wrist were so tight the glove was too uncomfortable to wear for more than a minute or two. Shame because it looks great, and Adidas' latex has excellent grip.
Very good short term gloves, very tight fit almost like a football glove with padding. The grip is great and the double wrist band helps protect your wrist definitely my favorite goalkeeper glove, only issue is the these are not good on artificial turf. Most like any other glove the padding on the palm tears and rips quite easily from the artificial turf. Other then that an all around amazing pair of gloves
Positives: Nice styling, good finger protection and grip. Negatives: Wrist size is tiny, even though my son is very slim. Scratchy velcro side is on the cuff, so when the strap with the soft velcro does not wrap all the way around, most of the scratchy velcro is exposed and shreds your football shirt. Had to unpick, preposition and re-sew the velcro on to make it fit the wrist of an average slim boy. As was, velcro didn't even meet at its shortest point!
