Was originally impressed but after using them for indoor football a dozen times a hole appeared in the toe area. No where near as hard wearing as I was expecting. I won't be buying again and can't recommend.
I ordered these as i missed out on getting some Ashingtons. I normally buy the standard Samba but this style looked great. perfect fit and look a little smarter with jeans. Added personalisation which was great value and looks part of the trainer.
These have a support in them which my other Sambas don't. I always buy a size bigger with Adidas shoes so knew what to expect. I own several pairs. I had to check they were leather as my feet were damp whereas with my other trainers they are not. Slight chafing on my right heel after a day's walking. I'm sure I'll get used to them of course and would not let this put me off buying from Adidas again.
This style of Samba is very different to the classic version. As a result it has a different feel and fit. Overall comfort is not quite there but difficult to judge over a short period. The gum sole is also different but looks quite good. Overall a good trainer.
Bought for a pair of winter trainers - e.g. going to the match in the rain. Upon delivery the insoles had lifted which appeared due to inserts at the arch underneath. These were noticeably uncomfortable when being worn, I persevered for a day then removed the inserts (like chicken fillets) and stuck the insoles back down. Much better and after a week wearing them in trainers are quite comfy. I recently returned a pair of Jeans because they were too uncomfortable and now realise it must have been because of the same inserts. I got Spezials to replace them which appear to have a lower profile insert and are comfortable as is. When did these insets start being used or is it only an international order thing - I don't have them in my other adidas and have never noticed them in past pairs?
Adidas Samba is the de facto standard that is used within the group of people I play indoor football with and I have purchased several over the years. The quality of the leather workmanship in the uppers makes ball control easy and the rubber bottoms ensure that you have steady footing all times. I would have given a rating of 5.
I love my mi samba 2 reasons 1 i designed them 2 noone will have the same pair. Opening the box they looked amazing They feel perfect soft leather is soft but durable. My name was embroided on which i thought was a nice touch. These trainers are very comfy the size was perfect, i was a bit worried after reading some reviews. Adidas supply a little storage bag to carry them in. Thank you adidas I've already started designing another pair.
Classically Styled. Sole and Skirts are very well made. Leather quality could be improved. 1/2 a size smaller than I normally wear, so order a 9 1/12 rather than a 9. Awful squeaking noise when first worn.
Adidas Samba remain one of the best shoes made by Adidas. The shoes are comfortable and stylish, not only are they durable but they are incredibly easy to clean. All it takes is a quick wipe down and you're good to go. I first thought that he white stripes and the back could be a problem as they would become dirty, that was however not the case. The shoes remain in fantastic condition even after a few months.
Bought these shoes for a month now. I've been looking for more and less an all round shoes. Found these samba shoes so perfect. Not only on the pitch but also off the pitch. Wear it at work and also to walk around. At first its a bit tight on width, but it only took a week to break in. Very true to size i must say. Highly recommended. Hope Adidas keep cotinue the production. I'll definitely get the second pair of samba in the future. Thanks
These are a trainer for the pub or casual use. The traditional Samba is ideal for the 5 a side scene, however being all leather I find them squeeky for normal use, however these sambas don't have the squeek and have extra details give a better look. Fit an feel are excellent. Great value for money.
My 10 yr old grandson loved these trainers when he opened them on Christmas day. I had his name added(free of charge) which was subtle in gold on the side it gives the boots a very expensive look and makes his trainers unique. Well done Adidas.
Great trainer for the price. Blue suede makes them suitable to wear with both black and blue jeans too. Strange that they are so cheap. Only thing is that the 10.5 definitely fits like a 10 which is strange seeing as Adidas is normally TTS.
I got these and a pair of grey Hamburg last week. The Hamburg are great and very comfortable. These...not so much. I have been wearing them most days since i got them, and they squeak a lot! (I have never had a pair of trainers that squeaks so much.) They hurt the sole of my feet, like there is a big stone inside the trainers. Perhaps it will go away with time, but for now it is uncomfortable. I would definitely not recommend them.
Been wanting a pair a Samba trainers for some time as I had them when I was a Kid and they lasted years. Slightly on the large side, wish I had got a 1/2 size smaller but still find them fine. Would definitely recommend.
bought a pair of adidas samba for my dads christmas. they're the only trainers he ever wears. being able to customise "dad" onto the heeltab was a lovely wee tacky touch making them, in my opinion, they ultimate dad shoe. they're for his christmas so he's not seen them yet but i know he'll love them. :)
A decent robust trainer, not the prettiest to look at, but decent for kicking footballs around with. For some reason Adidas have choosen to go with a material for the tongue that squeeks so loud its as though your walking on bubble wrap. Crazy. Good fitting trainer but nothing special Im afraid to report.
