I thought I would treat myself to some new boots after suffering from cramps. I tried lols of boots on in our local Ski/Board shop and when I came to these I knew straight away that these were the ones. They felt like my slippers. I didn't buy them straight away because I like to do my research so when I did, I saw that these are highly recommended by everyone. So I ordered the UK 8's but when they came I could feel my toes touching the end. I remembered trying 8.5's on in the shop but they had sold out so I ordered them direct from Adidas and applied a Black Friday voucher code and got £50 off.... There was a delay in delivery but the 50 just made them fit even sweeter when they arrived. I can't stop wearing them around the house. We fly out after Christmas and I can't wait. They take a little longer than my old SL-9's to lace up, but the sacrifice is well worth it to me. I know they're gonna make the days on the mountain so much more pleasurable.
Cant wait to put to the test, been worn a full day to break it in, superb comfort and the reduced footprint is impressive, medium stiff so feels supportive but not constricting, looks awesome too! Bonus!
Just got these today! Super stoked! They look amazing and feel great right out of the box. I typically wear a 10.5 in boots but I ordered these in 11 and they fit perfectly. I do recommend to buy a half size bigger than your normal shoe size with these boots, I believe a 10.5 would have been to snug for comfort. The boot I believe has a medium stiffness although I haven't rode them yet. Traditional lace, no fancy gadgets to break on pow day. Very lightweight and comfortable. Inside liner isn't overly thick but should still keep your feet warm. Very comfortable walking in unlike most. All in all definitely seem like a great boot!
This boots are super comfortable. I saw another review where they said there was an awkward foldover part and that they were uncomfortable to walk in which is simply because you need to break them in by actually snowboarding in them. This comment was very misleading and I didn't want people to be turned away from this boot. Adidas has made a great product and I would love to see them expand even more in snowboarding.
I accidently bought these a size to big but ended up loving them anyway. They look awesome and feel even better. I've been struggling with footpain for years but these babies made me fall in love with snowboarding again. I might even get a 2nd pair for when the first pair has had a wet day on the slopes.
Sent them back because although they look sweet, and the superstar styling is cool they have an awkward pressure point on the top of the foot where the boot creases under pressure. Only experienced this when walking in them but didn't give me confidence to keep them and try on the hill
These boots feel good around the foot, my only complaint is that the support to stop heal lift should be slightly higher up the liner by a couple of millimetres, at present the fit pinches the top of my heal slightly.
